Who graduates on April Fool’s Day? Improv students – we step into the unknown and trust we’ll figure it out – together. When we do – Magic happens.

We would love for you to join us as we graduate from being a Theater Games workshop to being an improvisational performance ensemble.  We want to share the fun we’ve been having, learning to be players in this freeing, transformational art form and are inviting folks we know, to be our supportive audience. You may also be interested to see for yourself what kinds of crazy things we do. It’s entertaining, fun and goes beyond comedy “improv.”

The NEXT Stage is directed by Marcia Kimmell.  She draws techniques from various sources, her training with Viola Spolin at the Second City in Chicago being most influential.

NEXT Stage Workshops:

  • Theater Games Intensive, Berkeley Saturday, April 6
  • Beginning Theater Games, 8 weeks, San Francisco Thursday Evenings

Napa Veterans Memorial Park
September 29, 2012

Napa’s memorial monument is dedicated to the men and women of Napa County who lost their lives serving their country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Virtual Memorials for SSGT  Dwight J. Morgan, LCPL Phillip G. West, PFC Jennifer L Cole, CPO Darrik C. Benson, SGT Chase B. Stanley, and SPC Garrett A. Fant were created as living legacies and as a of their military service by their family and friends. Veteran Stone, Inc. created free site app technology to host the Virtual Memorials. So the Memorials can be viewed on Androids or iPhones by simply downloading the QR code at the site. The Memorial videos were produced by the Veterans Media Center of San Francisco.

Napa’s memorial is located at Napa Veterans Memorial Park
